Founded in 1870 with over 235,000 members nationally, Kappa Kappa Gamma is one of the oldest and largest fraternities in the U.S. That's right - Kappa is actually a fraternity because the word sorority was not coined until after our founding. Kappa is founded on three core principles: leadership, friendship, and scholarship. An owl, a key, and the fleur-de-lis are the symbols of KKG, representing wisdom, dignity, and grace. Our colors are light and dark blue.
